Meteor Shower Watch Night
Join us for the best meteor shower of the year!
Sit back and watch the sky for meteors radiating from the constellation Perseus. There will be a short presentation and telescope viewing at dusk. Grab a Meteor Shower Observing Kit to keep a log of the meteors you see. Bring a red light flashlight or headlamp, if you have one. If not, visit the DIY red light table to cover your flashlight with red cellophane.
Check in at Yamaguchi Park near the restroom.
Find your spot on the grass to lay down or lounge in a chair.
It will get chilly, so dress in layers.
